Calciolgy for Weight Loss: More Evidence

Yet more studies are showing that the ingredients in Calciology™ can aid in weight loss.

This study found that calcium plus vitamin D supplementation was NECESSARY to achieve “significant fat mass loss” in overweight women who weren’t already consuming enough calcium. (Which, according to the Surgeon General is nearly all of us.)

But that was only the beginning: The researchers speculated that the calcium produced some kind of appetite control.

This Study found women on calcium and vitamin d lost more weight and that weight loss had more beneficial effect on their cholesterol levels than women dieting on a placebo.

This study of female twins found that magnesium intake was directly related to the levels of adiponectin in the body. Adiponectin is a hormone made by your fat cells that regulates inflammation levels within fat cells and consequently helps prevent fat gain. The more fat you have, the less adiponectin and vice versa. But higher magnesium intake also boosts adiponectin levels, helping to ward off fat gain and the ensuing risks of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

This study found that not only were obese individuals lower in vitamin C, those who supplemented with the vitamin were able to lose slightly more weight than those on a placebo during a very short trial. These findings reinforced previous studies that showed a lack of vitamin c inhibits the oxidation of fat – meaning you won’t burn fat as fuel if you’re low.

If you’re looking to lose weight, the science is clear.
